Chanel Fanaberia

Chief Customer Officer

Chanel Fanaberia is BetterUp’s BetterUp’s Chief Customer Officer, leading the Customer Experiences and Services organization. The customer organization serves as a strategic partner to BetterUp’s partners, accountable for the outcomes they set out to achieve and delivering on the promise of the Human Transformation Platform.

A results-driven leader with deep operational experience, Chanel has spent nearly a decade building and scaling the teams behind some of BetterUp's most defining moments. She most recently led the Center for Daring Leadership, where she partnered directly with many of BetterUp's largest enterprise customers on the leadership development work shaping their organizations. Earlier in her tenure, she led BetterUp's Network Operations function, building the systems and rigor behind a global coach community spanning 70+ countries and 60+ languages.

Prior to BetterUp, Chanel held leadership roles at high-growth marketplace companies, including Lyft, where she helped scale complex functions through periods of rapid growth and transformation.

Chanel graduated magna cum laude from San Diego State University with a B.A. in Journalism.
