Chitra Subramaniam

Chitra Subramaniam is BetterUp's Senior Vice President of Channel Sales and Partnerships, where she leads the strategy and growth of BetterUp's partner ecosystem. Her team builds new routes to market and strengthens strategic partnerships that extend the reach and impact of BetterUp's Human Transformation Platform across enterprise customers.

Chitra joins BetterUp from Google, where she spent nearly 15 years in Sales and Channel leadership roles. Most recently, she served as Global Director of ChromeOS and Education Channels, overseeing global channel strategy and execution across Education, Enterprise, and SMB segments. Earlier at Google, Chitra led the North America ChromeOS Commercial Channels organization and served as Global Head of OEM Channels for ChromeOS Commercial GTM, where she built the go-to-market strategy that accelerated enterprise Chromebook adoption across multiple segments. She also led teams that drove the enterprise success of Android and Google Pixel through strategic partnerships with major carriers and mobility providers.

Before Google, Chitra spent five years at Microsoft in enterprise sales roles across the Online Services and Application Platform groups, earning multiple top-performer awards. Her earlier career includes sales and business development roles at deCarta, Catapult Systems, Intergraph Corporation, and Esri, with a foundation in geospatial sciences.

Chitra is known for her ability to chart new territory and bring order to chaos — breaking down complex challenges into clear, executable plans and driving business impact with consistency. Her leadership style is defined by making the uncomfortable comfortable, fostering cultures of authenticity, accountability, and action. A dedicated mentor, she is passionate about raising the next generation of leaders and inspiring those around her to execute at a higher standard.

Chitra holds a Master of Applied Geography in Geographic Information Systems and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Computer Information Systems, both from Texas State University.
